Abby was bored!…

I was doing the dishes and Abby was way too quiet. This is what I walked into.

Abby has not done this sense because she sat for a half hour putting every single piece back in.

What's New with us

Well I realized that it's been forever sense I've posted anything and decided to post some stuff. I've got tons of pictures I want to post but I can't do it while the kids are awake because they destroy the house when I do. Rob is really busy with projects right now so he's on the computer at night and my little lap top wont let me download the soft ware for my camera so there won't be pictures for a little while SORRY!!

New Stuff:

Abby is now three and loving it. She holds her fingers out showing people that she is three whenever people ask (Thanks Nicole Field for teacher her that)
I have also been doing a mini preschool with one of Abby's friends (Abby calls her "my best friend"). She has been learning the alphabet. She knows "A" now. She loves to point it out where ever we are. She also likes to remind me that her name has an A in it. CUTIE!!

She went three night without having a wet accident in her bed. Then last night oops!! She has for the most part been doing lots better with potty training. She has a few accidents here and there. She has honestly been pretty good for a while. Funny story, Hopefully Nicole wont mind me telling this. Rob and I had Nicole watch Abby and Megan one day and while we were gone Abby pooped in her panties. Nicole was not very happy with her. Honestly I get unhappy with her every time. So discusting!! Anyways Abby for a while after that would say that she needs to go potty so that Nicole wont call her a baby again. Nicole helped us over the hurdle of potty training Abby. She has done so much better now.

Megan's 2nd front tooth has finally come in. She looked like a hillbilly for a while. Her also has two more molars on the bottom. Those have been a struggle coming in. They bleed a little and have been swollen for a while.
She has been showing interest in panties and the toilet but I AM NOT GOING THERE!! No I think she just wants to because Abby does. She is Abby's little shadow. It drives Abby crazy most some of the time. They both like the same things and we only have one so they fight. Joys of parenting I guess.
Megan also knows her nose and her mouth. She can say ball, barbie (weird I know, she leaves the r out) Dada, Mama, Papa, uh oh, she attempts to say drink, this, Abby, there are also a bunch of words that she has said one or two times and then never says again.
She has been climbing up and down the stairs really good and can start climbing down all by herself. She loves to be outside (no shock, I love it too).
She is a very delightful kid.

Rob's business is going well. He has been staying busy with projects.
My business ( I guess you could call it that) is going well. Starting to pick up. I've made $350 in one week. Not bad for 4 hours of work.
That's about it for all of us.

I started a new blog

So I decided to start a new blog so that I can post some great deals that I find on my shopping adventures. If anyone is interested it is Utahcouponmom.blogspot.com
I also am still in the process of getting it to look the way I like it but i am posting things already.

Mega-gail

Abby asked me about 2 or 3 weeks ago if Megan's real name was Mega-gail. I laughed and then explained that Megan's name is Megan and we call her Meggie for short. Like we call you Abby. Kids say the funniest things.

Megan Update

 

Just thought I’d put up some photos of Megan taken today before she went to bed.  You can’t see anything but her eyes in her ladybug costume, and the last photos of her down below look really young!

We just put the girls to bed.  They had fun with Trick or Treating tonight and with handing out candy to the neighbor kids (well, Abby did- Megan just enjoyed begging Daddy to open more candy for her.)

Misty had her baby (Boy)

He was 7lbs and 13oz

He was born last Monday.

Healthy baby.

His name is Sam.

Megan took a few steps on her own.

Megan has been very adventures lately. She walked a few steps from one couch to the other. She has been also attempting to walk from our coffee table to me.
Also, Abby is officially potty trained with peeing but pooping is another struggle.
She now will actually take herself into the bathroom and says "No, Mom I do it by my big self". She usually just asks for the light to be turned on. Yeah!!!
We are still working on #2 though. That one is the hardest for me to deal with, but she will figure it out one day.

Megan is crawling

So today finally Megan crawled. I'll have to get a video of her, so you can see. She looks silly sometimes when she crawls. She still prefers to walk around holding my hand. In fact if I am any where near her she will just repeatedly reach for my index finger to hold so she can get the object she wants by walking. I have been forcing her to crawl, poor Megan. But, she finally did it. YEAH!!

Happy Birthday Elli and Laney

Abby is in the middle. They had lots of fun swinging it around and hitting each other with them.

Watching Cinderella.

My friend Hayley is a hair stylist, her daughter is Elli. She gave all the girls Princess hair. It was such a fun birthday party.

What cute hair! She kept that in for the rest of the day. She loved it! There is no way I could reproduce that or get her to sit still for me . But it makes a cute picture.

They all started to dance around it was quite cute. As you can see Cinderella and Prince Charming are dancing.

Abby loves her Halloween costume. She is going to be Cinderella this year. All we need now is some shoes and she is set.

Funny Abby

Abby just kept stacking things on her stroller until it looked like this. It kind of reminds me of a homeless person. They stack everything they can fit onto there cart , what ever it may be. Also if you look at the second picture she totally ran over her stuffed dog, OUCH!!

Rob

Megan has a tooth

About a week and a half ago Megan got her first tooth. She was really fussy and had a fever then up came a tooth. We thought she was sick but nope she was just teething.

Abby very sick

So yesterday all day long Abby played like normal Abby then all of a sudden she just got sad and cuddly. When I held her she felt really hot to me so I checked her temperature. It was 101.6 degrees. Last night was crappy she kept throwing up and her temperature got to 102.6. I got a total of maybe 4 hours of sleep last night. 2 hours here and 2 hours there. We changed Abby clothes three times and washed her bedding twice. We finally put her in bed with us and Rob stayed up the whole night just to make sure she was okay. He just went and laid down maybe 30 minutes ago. Poor Abby she is really sick. Megan is up now so that is all the sleep I will be getting.

Best Prayer Ever

Abby just gave the most ridiculous prayer ever, all by herself.  This is it, in it's entirety:

"Dear Heavenly Father;

Thank you for food.  Thank you for Abby eat cookies.  Please bless Abby eat cookies.

Name of Jesus Christ, Amen."
