Princess Party

I took Abby and Megan to a Princess Party on Saturday. They had fun, they ate cookies and danced with princesses. Megan even got to dance with the Prince. They had lots of fun dancing with there two friends who also attended the party. All together it was a blast.

New curtains

I made some new curtains for my bedroom. I found the fabric at Walmart for $1.50/yrd. a still really. So it cost me $10 to make both panels. I plan to embroider them like the yellow these yellow curtains but in brown.

Abby and Megan's hut

Abby and Megan love for me to make a hut out of our Kitchen chairs and a few blankets. I make the hut when I need to get some cleaning done. They play in it for hours. Plus it's an easy clean up.

Christmas

 Megan was a little confused about the bouncy ball that she got in her stocking. She kept trying to give it to Abby. Abby loves bouncy balls.

 Megan reading to her two new dolls. She's reading my scriptures to them.  She apparently thinks it's more fun to read the scriptures then to read her new book that is sitting right next to her.  


Abby was so tired from waking up at 4:00 AM to open her presents that she just fell asleep on the
chair in the kitchen.

My new project!

For months now I've wanted to make new pillows for my house. I haven't quite felt up to it. However now I am feeling much better. In 5 days I made 8 pillows for my house. It was a lot of fun. Here they are:

Kathleen helped me pick out this super cute sign at Rod Works. I loved the colors in it so I used it as an inspiration for these. They were so easy to make.

 So Abby took this photo. It's a little blurry but you get the idea.

The brown pillows aren't done yet. I'm going to embroider them.

10 little Monkey jumping on the bed!

 For a while Megan's favorite book was "10 little Monkeys jumping on the bed". She wouldn't go to sleep until you handed her the book. One night I walked in to see if they were still okay and this is what I saw. She loves to read. For a while there every morning I could tell that Megan was awake because I would here her saying the words she could remember from the book. "No Monkey Jump bed" is what she would say.
Also if you can tell she is waring a sweater. She loves sweaters. It all started after I had my thyroid removed I would always wear a sweater. I seamed to be more cold after that. So Megan loving her Mommy so much I guess decided she wanted to be just like me. Now she always wants to wear a sweater. She sometimes will wear one and then hold another one. This night she refused to go to bed unless she was wearing a sweater. Super cute kid! I love our girls so much.

Rapunzel, Rapunzel let down your hair.

This is by far Abby's favorite movies ever. Which it probably is for most little girls. A super cute movie. Well we own it and maybe this will tell you that Abby might watch it too much but one day she started acting out the movie. I was doing the dishes and Abby came in grabbed a pot and went into the living room. So I investigated and found her just like this. Remind you of something?

 Yes in case you are wondering Megan is apparently Flynn Rider in the above picture. Megan will always pretty much do anything that Abby asks.

It was sure fun watching her. Poor Megan maybe one day she'll actually get to play Rapunzel.
